Indonesia is a country where attention to detail and strict adherence to rules are crucial, especially when it comes to government officials. At the borders, they often check all documents, permits, and certificates required by law. This is the law, and it is taken seriously.
To ensure a smooth arrival in Bali and avoid any border issues due to missing paperwork (as this can lead to being denied entry or fined until the issue is resolved), make sure to prepare the following documents:
Your passport, valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival.
Visa. There are many types of visas available. You can learn more about them here - https://bali-legal.com/en/visa-bali-en. We recommend the В211 visa (which allows entry for 90 days from the date of issuance).
Return ticket. The date should be no later than 60 days from your entry date. For example, if you enter on September 20th, your return ticket should be for November 19th at the latest. It doesn’t have to be a real ticket; we can help you arrange a confirmation.
Customs declaration. This can be filled out online before you arrive in the country.
Medical insurance with COVID-19 coverage (minimum $25,000). While this is not always checked, it’s highly recommended. The insurance can be a real policy or just a confirmation document, considering the high cost of treatment in Indonesia. You can find the best insurance options here - https://tripinsurance.ru/.
Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination (such as the "Sputnik V" vaccine) or a medical exemption certificate. The exemption document must be translated into English and notarized (according to the official data from the Association of Tour Operators of Russia). In Indonesia, vaccination certificates do not have an expiration date. The most important thing is that it’s a two-dose vaccine—boosters are not required.
We can assist with all document preparation. If you'd like to take the stress out of handling your paperwork and ensure no mistakes are made before your trip, you can submit a request.
