How to Obtain KITAS with Us in 2 Working Weeks?
STEP 1 - Company Registration
You cannot obtain KITAS without a company. If you don't have your own business in Bali yet, read about how to open a company here: - https://bali-legal.com/en/kitas-company-en.
Your company will be your sponsor for obtaining the residence permit (KITAS) for all co-founders (if necessary).
STEP 2 - Submitting Documents to the Immigration Office: Issuing the Investor Visa
At this stage, you'll need to provide:
Your passport
An address in Indonesia
A phone number linked to WhatsApp for communication (preferably an Indonesian number)
Documents related to the company, along with copies of your passport, will be sent to the immigration office for the initial investor visa issuance.
At this point, they may request a bank statement showing a minimum balance (from $5,000) and possibly an additional sponsor from Bali.
We assist in resolving any questions at this stage and initiate the process.
STEP 3 - Receiving and Activating the Investor Visa
Once your visa is approved by the immigration office, it will be sent to you electronically as a PDF file. Your "usage period" starts immediately after the visa is issued.
Investor Visa Usage Period: 90 days from the date of issuance. This is the time allowed for you to activate the visa by entering Indonesia.
IMPORTANT!!!
Do not purchase tickets to Bali until the visa is issued.
There have been known cases of investor visa rejections due to:
Your country of residence.
Previous immigration violations by the applicant.
Incorrect information in the passport, etc.
STEP 4 - Activating the Visa and Obtaining the KITAS
Within 90 days, you must enter Indonesia using this visa. Upon arrival, you'll receive a sticker in your passport at the border, and within 1-2 days, your KITAS will arrive electronically via a convenient messaging app.
THAT'S IT! Now you can manage your company, obtain a tax number for the director, and hire employees.
